move-item-to-folder
Use move-item-to-folder to file, reorganize, or archive an item, or to return it to the top level. The item's location changes; nothing is copied. If the destination folder doesn't exist yet, create it first with create-folder.
Example prompt
"Move my Q3 launch deck into the 'Q3 campaign' folder."
Pass the item_id (a design, folder, or image ID) and the to_folder_id. Use "root" as the to_folder_id to move the item to the top level.
Example response
IDs and URLs below are placeholders; field names and structure are exactly as returned.
{"status": "success","folder_url": "https://www.canva.com/folder/FOLDER_EXAMPLE"}
A status of success confirms the move, and folder_url opens the destination folder in Canva.
An item that lives in more than one folder can't be moved with this tool and returns an item_in_multiple_folders error. The user needs to move it in Canva instead.
