get-create-design-async-job
Use get-create-design-async-job to poll a job started by create-design.
Example prompt
"Is my presentation ready yet?"
Pass the job_id and the continuation_token from the most recent create-design or get-create-design-async-job response.
Example response
IDs, URLs, and tokens below are placeholders; field names and structure are exactly as returned.
{"job_id": "job_EXAMPLE","status": "completed","design": {"id": "DAF_EXAMPLE","url": "https://www.canva.com/d/EXAMPLE","edit_url": "https://www.canva.com/d/EXAMPLE","print": { "is_printable": true, "print_url": "https://www.canva.com/print/EXAMPLE" }}}
A status of completed returns the design with its id and edit link. Give the user the link.
While the job runs, the status is in_progress and the response contains a new continuation_token and a polling_policy. Wait for polling_policy.wait_seconds, then poll again with the same job_id and the new token. Polling sooner returns a status of polled_too_early. If the job fails, the status is failed and the response contains a failure with a code and message.
If design.print.is_printable is true, the user can also order the design as a physical print using print_url.
