What is a public app? How does it differ from a team app?

A public app is an app that can be made available to all of Canva's users. This is opposed to team apps, which can only be made available to members of a specific team.

To release a public app, you must submit it for review. Someone from Canva will review the app and, if it's approved, you can release the app to the public.

Once a public app is released, users can find the app:

In the Canva editor, via the More tab, Edit image panel, or Publish menu.
Outside of the editor, via canva.com/apps⁠(opens in a new tab or window)

You can't change a public app into a team app (or vice-versa).
