Connectors in Canva AI let Canva users access their tools — like Gmail, Notion, and Google Calendar — right inside Canva AI. We're building out our connector ecosystem and want to hear from companies whose products could be a great fit.
About Connectors in Canva AI
AI Connectors are currently read-only integrations that let Canva AI pull in real content from a user's connected tools. A user might ask Canva AI to turn their latest emails into a presentation, or build a project update from their calendar — Connectors make that possible without ever leaving Canva.
- Current scope: Read-only access only, text content only (no images or videos).
- Technical standard: MCP (Model Context Protocol).
We're not currently accepting submissions for connectors developed by third-parties. Right now, Canva builds and maintains all AI Connectors. We're working toward opening this up, but we don't have a timeline to share. Submitting interest here doesn't guarantee your product will be built or listed.
What we're looking for
We're focused on tools that Canva's users already rely on and where connecting to Canva AI would meaningfully improve their workflow. Strong candidates tend to:
- Have broad adoption among creative, marketing, and business teams.
- Expose data that's genuinely useful as context for design and communication tasks.
- Already have or are actively building an MCP server.
- Have a technical contact who can move quickly when we're ready to build.
